Encouragement through Serving Others

What encourages you? My daughter recently went on a week-long mission trip to work with Big Heart Orphanage in Reynosa, Mexico. Can you imagine the impact and encouragement a youth group from Charlotte could have on orphans and those who work there?
I cut out a quote that I’ve carried around a long time; it’s a Chinese Proverb:
If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap
If you want happiness for a day, go fishing
If you want happiness for a month, get married
If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune
If you want happiness for a lifetime, help someone else
We’re in a service industry. Most of us have jobs where part of our role includes interaction with other people, which ultimately in our world of insurance leads to providing benefits for someone.
We at The Cason Group recognize our primary role is to partner with (serve) insurance advisers and their teams by delivering creative sales and service solutions that exceed expectations. To me, the way we do this speaks volumes.
One of our values is Encouraging: we strive to serve our clients and one another in a joyful manner, being patient, gracious and forgiving. The below scriptures highlight and serve as reminders for us to be encouraging
1 Thessalonians 5:11 – Encourage one another and build each other up.
Hebrews 3:13 – But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
I’m going into my 12th year with The Cason Group, so I can say with confidence that our team thrives on finding ways to help advisers, and our goal is to always do so in an encouraging way.
If you’ve not worked with our team, I encourage you to give us a shot. We work with some of the best carriers available for medical and non-medical lines and have created tools that support brokers and their group clients.
